Jose Y. Dalisay Jr., Ph.D.
Jose Y. Dalisay Jr. is an editor and a regular columnist for the Philippine STAR and one of the most recognized Filipino writers in recent years, winning awards for his work in English. He teaches English and Creative Writing at the University of the Philippines where he also serves as the coordinator for the Creative Writing Program, and as an Associate of the U.P. Institute of Creative Writing. He has been a Hawthornden Castle, British Council, David Wong, and Rockefeller (Bellagio) Fellow. Doctor Dalisay has also conducted lectures in various universities all over the world and has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan and a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a Fulbright scholar.
Patricia May B. Jurilla, Ph.D.
Patricia May B. Jurilla is an Assistant Professor for the Department of English and Comparative Literature in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has several notable degrees to her name in the fields of English studies including an M.A. in English from Boston College, and another M.A. from the University of London. Doctor Jurilla has been a teacher for the past fifteen (15) years, and has taught courses in academic writing, research, and literature.
Maria Elena P. Locsin
Maria Elena P. Locsin earned her Master of Education degree from Harvard University School of Education in 1984, and a BA in Comparative Literature in the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1982. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and Curriculum Coordinator at The Beacon School in Manila.

Rebecca T. Soliman, R.N.
Rebecca T. Soliman is a practicing Clinical Instructor for the Perpetual Help College of Manila and the University of La Salle. She is also a Nurse Training Officer at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center where she has been working for more than 20 years. Ms. Soliman remains an active member of the nursing community through her affiliations with the Philippine Nurses Association, Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, and as part of the Board of Directors of the National League of Philippine Government Nurses, Inc. She received her post-graduate and undergraduate degree in nursing from Manila Central University.
Elegia Ebora Capito, R.N. M.A.N.
Elegia Ebora Capito has been working as a nurse since 1987 at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She was a Clinical Instructor for La Sallette University from 2003 to 2007. Today, she continues to teach at the Perpetual Help College Manila where she has been working for the past 3 years. Ms. Capito is a member of the Philippine Nurses Association, National League of Government Nurses of the Philippines, and Association of Nursing Administrators of the Philippines. She earned her undergraduate degree from Lyceum University in Batangas, and her post-graduate degree in nursing from the Philippine College of Health and Sciences.
